Facebook allows you to create a “Facebook group” or “ Facebook fan page” there are major differences with these. Which one should you use you may wonder?
Groups are great for organizing a cause on a personal level and smaller interaction. Pages are better for businesses, brands, movies, or celebrities who want to interact with their fans or customers and have a need to exceed Facebook 5,000 friends max.

It’s very clear from the above list that fan pages are the better way to go!
One major drawback with fan pages is that your messages are not sent to your member’s inbox but through an updates page in your inbox. This can be bad for people that want to push their messages out there however it can be very good for people that do not want to annoy users all the time by sending them direct messages!

Since i decided to represent unitedworx in facebook tried to do a brief research to do it properly.
